Forum for Democratic Change president Patrick Amuriat Oboi has rapped his own people from Teso for not voting him in the 2021 general elections.
In the 2021 general election, Amuriat got only 337,589 votes accounting for 3.26% of the total valid votes countrywide.
Addressing gatherings in Mbale, Amuriat said his own people from Teso hid under the beds instead of canvassing votes for him during the 2021 presidential polls.
“Don’t be like the people of Teso who when I contested last time and guns came pointing at them, and military jets were flying over Teso, hid under their beds. They didn’t vote for their son,” Amuriat said as he took a jibe at his own people.
He asked the people from Bugishu to vote for Nandala Mafabi who is their own son.
