KCCA FC goalkeeper, Mutwalib Magolofa and NEC FC’s Jeriga Atendere can expect to be charged by FUFA’s disciplinary committee following Thursday night’s debacle during a Uganda Premier League clash.
KCCA FC lost the game to host side NEC 1-0 as Enock Ssebagga, a brother to former URA FC captain Manco Kawesa scored the only goal of the game.
During the clash at Lugogo, Atendere slapped KCCA FC captain of the day Filbert Obenchan and Mutwalib Magolofa did the same to NEC player James Jeriko .
Referee Lucky Kasalirwe booked Atendere who was later substituted and replaced by Ibrahim Musa.
However, the FUFA disciplinary committee is expected to hand punishments to the two players.
On the other side, NEC is also said to be petitioning the committee for the yellow card given to their goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwarunyo, seeking to have it rescinded.
