Uganda is making a strong impression at the International and French Travel Market (IFTM) in Paris, which concludes today at Porte de Versailles.
The Uganda Embassy in Paris, in partnership with prominent tourism companies such as Gorilla Tours Ltd, Safari to East, and Bantu Travel, is highlighting the nation’s unique attractions to global travel professionals.
The IFTM event features over 3,000 exhibitors from more than 100 countries and 1,200 brands, drawing more than 50,000 attendees and over 30,000 tourism professionals.
Uganda is among 170 destinations represented, offering participants a chance to learn about its rich biodiversity, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture.
Known for its iconic mountain gorillas, expansive savannahs, and cultural diversity, Uganda is positioning itself as a premier destination for adventure, wildlife, and eco-tourism.
Exhibitors are offering tailored travel packages ranging from thrilling safaris to serene nature retreats, catering to diverse travel interests.
Uganda’s ambassador to France, Doreen Amule, emphasized the country’s dedication to promoting sustainable tourism and strengthening international partnerships.
“Our presence at IFTM Paris underscores Uganda’s commitment to welcoming global tourists and providing them with an unforgettable experience,” she said.
Ugandan embassies have been increasingly tasked with marketing the country for tourism and investment opportunities, further solidifying its position on the global tourism stage.
