Police has stopped singer Ssemanda Manisul also known as King Saha’s concert with immediate effect.
Dubbed “King Saha Live in Concert”, the concert, a celebration of King Saha’s musical journey was set for tomorrow, Friday at Cricket Oval Lugogo.
In a statement on Thursday evening, Police spokesperson, Kituuma Rusoke said a joint security team realised the concert organized by Benon Galabuzi of Umoja Management will not be for revelers.
“The halting of this music event is based on a recommendation by the joint security and national security council technical team which observed signs of potential structural failure on the facility likely to endanger public safety,”Rusoke said.
He said due to these reasons, they had to stop the concert until there are rectifications on the facility to protect revelers.
