BrighterMonday Uganda has announced a strategic partnership with the National ICT Innovation Hub in Nakawa to equip job seekers and professionals with essential soft skills and digital literacy to enhance their career prospects in today’s evolving job market.
As the demand for well-rounded professionals continues to grow, officials from both parties said the collaboration aims to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers by fostering career readiness, interpersonal skills, and digital capabilities.
While many job seekers in Uganda possess the necessary academic qualifications, employers increasingly seek candidates with strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
“This partnership will provide tailored training programs, mentorship opportunities, and hands-on career development sessions to empower individuals with these critical competencies,” a statement from BrighterMonday Uganda said.
Through this collaboration, BrighterMonday Uganda and ICT Innovation Hub will offer a range of initiatives, including soft skills development programs to improve leadership, communication, and collaboration.
The two parties will also offer digital literacy training to prepare job seekers for the technology-driven job market, career coaching and mentorship to enhance employability and professional growth and networking opportunities with industry leaders and potential employers.
“ BrighterMonday Uganda has long been a leader in connecting top talent with the right career opportunities, and this partnership strengthens its commitment to bridging the gap between job seekers and employers. The ICT Innovation Hub’s expertise in digital transformation will further ensure that professionals are equipped for the modern workplace,” the statement noted.
