The board of seven will be headed by Muwanga Barlow Edward John whereas Anne Abeja, Innocent Acheng Nkuyahaga, Diana Claire Angwech, Okudi Robert Bellarmine, Namboga Timothy Ronald and Tagoole Ali will be members.

The new board will be in charge of providing the overall governance of the stadium but  also in charge of policies and implementation of articles of  association .

It will serve for the next three years until 2026.

Namboole stadium is the biggest sports arena in the country, having been constructed in 1997.

It hosts different activities including sports, political and religious meetings among others.

The stadium has however in the past three or so years been closed to allow for renovation activities which are currently ongoing by the UPDF engineering brigade.
