13-time Uganda Premier League champions, KCCA FC have sacked head coach Abdallah Mubiru.
The Lugogo based side sacked the coach who was hired in November 2023 for his second stint after suffering a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Kitara in Hoima on Saturday.
Whereas the team is currently sixth on the 15-team log on 34 points collected from 22 games, Abdallah Mubiru’s time at KCCA FC has been a mixture of results.
According to Daily Monitor, Mubiru was informed of his sacking via phone call by the club CEO, Anisha Muhoozi.
KCCA FC will play BUL FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Saturday while Jackson Magera will take charge of the team on the interim basis as the club looks for a new coach.
