The newly appointed Stanbic Bank Uganda CEO, Mumba Kalifungwa has welcomed his appointment.
Mumba, who has been the Absa Bank Uganda was on Monday morning announced as the new Stanbic Bank CEO to replace Anne Jjuuko who was recently elevated.
Commenting about his appointment, Mumba said this is yet another opportunity to serve in the banking sector.
“I am pleased with the opportunity to embark on this new challenge. Together with the other leaders across the organisation, I am looking forward to building on the bank’s solid foundation and contributing to the purpose of driving Uganda’s growth, creating even more shared value for all stakeholders,” Mumba said.

Kalifungwa will officially start work on March, 1, 2025.
