Ecobank Uganda has launched the “KIGGALE ne’ Ecobank Campaign,” offering customers a unique opportunity to access salary loans of up to $100,000 (Shs 372 million) with a two-month repayment break.
This initiative allows borrowers to start repaying between April and May 2025, providing them with the flexibility to manage their finances at the beginning of the loan period.
The campaign, designed to ease financial pressure, targets individuals who often experience financial strain after the festive season, commonly referred to as “Jan worry.”
It is aimed at supporting families coping with back-to-school expenses and individuals working towards their 2025 financial goals.
Speaking at the campaign’s launch, Ms. Grace Muliisa, Managing Director of Ecobank Uganda, emphasized the holistic approach of the offering.
“The ‘KIGGALE ne’ Ecobank Campaign’ is more than just a financial offer; it’s a partnership that will help customers jumpstart their 2025 goals without financial pressure,” Muliisa said.
In addition to the repayment holiday, the campaign offers a suite of benefits, including flexible repayment terms of 60 to 84 months, zero monthly fees with the advantage account, a complimentary Visa Gold card for convenient banking, and competitive interest rates starting from 15.9%, making it both affordable and accessible to a wide range of customers.
According to Muliisa, the initiative reaffirms Ecobank’s commitment to being a trusted financial partner, offering innovative and customer-centric solutions. “The ‘KIGGALE ne’ Ecobank initiative reflects our dedication to empowering customers, addressing practical financial challenges, and enabling them to achieve their dreams with ease,” she added.
This offering underscores Ecobank’s continued focus on providing accessible financial solutions that support customers in achieving their personal and professional goals.
