Singers Priscilla Zawedde, aka Azawi and Reagan Muhairwe also known as Ray G who previously had a spat have reconciled.
The two singers on Wednesday posted photos of themselves together following the reconciliation.
The spat was captured in a video in which Ray G was following Azawi from the backstage to the stage unhappy with her decision to perform first.
When Ray G politely asked her for a word, Azawi declined the request telling him to wait for her to first sing.
The spat has seen fans for both camps use tribal sentiments against each other and it reached the climax on December, 31, during the Enkuuka concert when Ray G was belted with bottles as he performed.
Singer and president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation, Eddy Kenzo recently condemned the tribal sentiments that played out during the spat between the two singers.
“I must tell you it’s absurd for our industry at this time when our main focus is unity well,”Kenzo said.
The Sitya Loss singer said he personally condemns acts of violence and tribalism within the industry “because our Ugandan culture is rich because of its diversity, and let’s be reminded that we don’t choose who we are.”
“ I also encourage association leaders from Greater Ankore to work with the Secretariat to ensure that sanity prevails again. “
