Singer Priscilla Zawedde also known as Azawi has deleted all posts she had previously made showing support for the anti- corruption march to parliament.
The posts made in the past one week on her official X account were showing solidarity with the organisers of the march.
In one of the posts, she asked Police not to use teargas or canes to disrupt the protesters, asking leaders to listen to the issues affecting the majority of Ugandans.
“You’ve arrogantly refused to work on the issues affecting almost 78% of this population, you’re even willing to hurt any “Nakasatwe” that expresses their dissatisfaction with tear gas and canes,” she posted on Sunday.
“I hope it won’t be too late when you eventually decide to listen to us!!”
It is however not clear why the singer has deleted all the posts.
The development comes on the backdrop of arrests by security of members of the public who tried to march to parliament in protest against corruption.
