Amus college head coach Faridah Bulega and her player Easther Namataka have been voted coach and player of the month of November in the Finance trust FUFA Women Super League.
During the awarding ceremony on Monday morning, the duo has each been given a token of appreciation of ssh500,000 from Finance trust bank with a plaque handed over to them by the finance trust bank executive director Annet Kiggundu.
Kiggundu said that this is part of their agreement with the Federation of Uganda Football Association(FUFA) which is also in line with local women football development.
Meanwhile, for the first time, the coach of the month in the FUFA women elite league has been appreciated with a plaque and sh250,000.
Jimmy Mwera Kintu of St Noah has been voted the coach of the month in this lower league.
Last month, Bulega’s Amus College played five games, won two, drew two and lost only once and during the same time, Namataka scored two goals and provided four assists.
