A receptionist at the Industrial Area based Vision Group is the cause of the public spat and split between popular DJ Ssuuna Ben and Mary Nambwayo, this website has learnt.
The bad blood between the two lovers culminated into the renowned DJ throwing Nambwayo’s belonging out of their house in Garuga, along Entebbe Road.
This website has learnt that it all started when Ssuuna Ben fell in love with a receptionist at Vision Group that he secretly took to his mother in Masaka.
“Nambwayo had not known about it until someone in Masaka informed him of what had happened,” a source privy to the matter said.
Nambwayo, who has a child with Ssuuna Ben realized she was losing her man to the receptionist and decided to start living with the DJ from Masaka at their unfinished bungalow.
“She picked her belongings and went to the bungalow for fearing of losing it to the receptionist.”
It is also said that recently, Ssuuna sought to buy a piece of land and Nambwayo convinced him to buy it from one of the property agents in Kampala that she knew.
“Nambwayo was given money to go purchase the land but Ssuuna Ben was recently angered when he asked for the land title and she kept dodging the question,” another source said.
The DJ was angered when he learnt that the land dealer had connived with Nambwayo to have her name included on the land title without Ssuuna Ben’s knowledge.
It is said that Nambwayo, an entertainment reporter at Vision Group held onto the land title and thought the DJ wanted to give the land to her co-wife.
This is said to have escalated the matters.
Having realized that Nambwayo was taking it too far, Ssuuna Ben is said to have been angered and decided to throw her out of the bungalow.
However, those close to Nambwayo insist that the DJ wants to use this opportunity to bring the receptionist into the house.
