Four students from Buganda Royal Institute of Business and Technical Education in Mengo have died after the vehicle they were travelling in got involved in an accident along Entebbe road.
According to Michael Kananura, the traffic police spokesperson, the accident happened on Saturday at around 3:30pm when the stationary Buganda Royal Institute vehicle was rammed into by a speeding Toyota Rumion, registration number, UBH 582S.

“It’s said that the driver of Rumion while at Garuga after log inn bar trying to over take a drone in a corner, lost control rammed into the vehicle which was parked aside off loading sodas killing instantly 4 of it’s occupants and injuring two others who were all students of Buganda Royal Institute,” Kananura said.
Eyewitnesses said the Buganda Royal students were headed for a party at the beach.
He said victimswere rushed to Kisubi Hospital for treatment whereas the bodies were taken to Mulago City mortuary for postmortem.
“The vehicles have been towed to Kisubi police station pending inspection while inquires into the cause of the accident have commenced.”
