Susan Nabuti, the former National Unity Platform diaspora team leader in charge of the European Union has landed a top job at an international human rights body in Netherlands.
Nabuti has been elevated to a human rights intern at the Global Human Rights Defence headquartered in Hague, Netherlands.
GHRD focuses specifically on promoting and protecting human rights worldwide.
Previously, Nabuti trained Ugandans in Netherlands about patriotism and love for their country.
“Ugandans in the diaspora have a big role to play to develop their country. They need to harness the skills and experiences they have to contribute positively for the growth of their home country,” she said.
She has previously been in Washington DC advocating for women and human rights.
